Ali Rieman #ALISTRONG

Ali is a young, amazing, and beautiful person (inside & out). Her kindness is contagious and she inspires many. She loves to workout and be with her family and friends.

On October 6th of 2015 (age 18) she was diagnosed with AML-Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Ali spent many months in the hospital, enduring several rounds of brutal chemotherapy. She received full body radiation followed by a bone marrow transplant. Her brother, Justin, was a half-match donor for her, as she has no match higher than 50%. It was a fight for her life, but the transplant was successful and Ali was in remission for nearly 2 years.

After a routine bone marrow biopsy, one funky cell was detected. While waiting for the results of a repeated bone marrow biopsy, a lump was found in her breast. The tumor in her breast was then biopsied. The news came back on her 21st birthday while her family and friends were all out to dinner celebrating. The doctor called and told Ali she had relapsed. On the day she was supposed to be celebrating her life, she was told she would have to fight for it again. Ali's AML has returned. On Friday she will be admitted to face more treatments and she'll have to undergo another bone marrow transplant. This is a very aggressive form of leukemia.

Ali is VERY strong. There is ALL HOPE that Ali will come out stronger from this, yet again.

The treatments are brutal and very expensive. Living in the hospital is very costly. Anything that you can contribute to relieve some of the stress is extremely appreciated.

Last time (for about 7 months straight) Ali's mom, Michelle, NEVER left the hospital and stayed by her side all of those hard, sleepless nights. Ali and her family are the most wonderful, selfless people. They do not deserve this. An individual doesn't get cancer, a family does. However, through the support and prayers of family and friends, they will get through this...again.

All contributions and prayers will be VERY much appreciated.
