Algonquin Practical Nursing Class of 2025 Pinning Fundraiser
Donation protected
Are you interested in supporting the future generation of nurses? Looking to support a good cause? Perhaps give recognition to a student's hard work? Well, look no further!
Algonquin's Practical Nursing students, class of June 2025, are fundraising to host a pinning ceremony. This time-honoured traditional ceremony is not just a formality but a significant event marking the transition from student to professional nurse. All money donated through this fundraiser will help cover the ceremony's costs.
Some examples of how this money could be used include:
- booking a venue for the pinning ceremony
- catering for light refreshments
Are you wondering: "What is a pinning ceremony?"
A pinning ceremony is a long-held tradition for nurses. It is held in addition to a school's official graduation ceremony. A special nursing pin is donned onto a nursing student's clothing, symbolizing their transition from student and their initiation into the nursing profession. This momentous occasion is a chance to honour and celebrate our academic journey, and your support can make it even more special for our students.
Donors are welcome to leave a comment to let us know who they're supporting, or they can choose to remain anonymous!
Feel free to share our page with any friends, family, or co-workers—especially those who live far away and cannot attend our ceremony in person.
Thank you for viewing our fundraising page and your interest in supporting us for this exciting event! Your contributions will make a significant difference in our ability to host this important ceremony.
Sincerely,
Algonquin College's Practical Nursing Students, Class of 2025
