<div>Over the last five months, our beloved sister, friend, and comrade Asli Alfalfa has been in and out of the hospital to treat a severe long-term manic episode. These symptoms are brand new for Asli and she has started learning how to live with and manage Bipolar Disorder. This is also new for Asli’s chosen and given family and we are asking our community for support to help get Asli back on her feet while she focuses on recovery.

<div>Asli has been out of work since her episode began in January. Between then and now, she has been inpatient, outpatient, and in a partial hospitalization program and is now looking forward to establishing routines that support her in the long term. In these five months, Asli’s resources have been drained and she needs financial support in order to reestablish her independence and take care as she applies for SSDI and new jobs. Helping Asli get back on her feet means helping her prioritize her wellness as she figures out what comes next!
