Alford Family Emergency Expenses

Today I received devastating news from a best friend and roommate, Walker. He told me that this coming semester he won't be able to attend school. He explained that his father disappeared five days ago, leaving his family to discover the significant amount of debt he left them in. Walker and his mother were completely blind sighted; His father has still yet to be heard from.

Walker has always been a great friend to everyone as well as an honor roll student in the Farmer School of Business at Miami University.  It would be absolute shame to see his education cut short due to such horrible circumstances. 

My goal is to raise enough money to help compensate for the financial burden inflicted on my close friend and his family as well generate money to pay his tuition for the upcoming fall semester . With the help of our friends, families and peers, hopefully we can raise enough money to help Walker and his family get through this hardship.  It is very hard to imagine such an unfortunate circumstance as this to happen to such kind people.  Any and all donations, thoughts and prayers will be greatly appreciated.
