Alfest - Celebrating the Life of Alan Kenny

Last July, our dear friend, Alan Kenny, died suddenly.  Friend to many, husband to Sarah and Dad to Aisling, Louise, Rhona, & Fionn.

We are all still struggling to cope with this terrible loss.  Al was extremely warmhearted and funny.  He enriched the lives of everyone who knew him.

Since his tragic passing, we've wanted to organise a night for Al - a night to remember him, to honour him and to commemorate our mate.  The big night was on March 1st, in Sin É on Ormond Quay.  It was a fantastic night - as was befitting to celebrate the life of our great friend.  The people, the band, the DJs, the venue, the craic - everything was just amazing.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who contributed!!  Everyone who came, played, worked and donated the massive number of raffle and auction items. 

We were celebrating Al's life, but this was also a fundraiser - we're trying to raise as much as we can to provide financial support to Sarah and their children.  It's never too late to contribute!! Alfest night may have come and gone, but donations are still as important as before.

Note:  All monies raised are transferred directly to Sarah.
