The Alfaro/Cortez family have lived in their Aurora Illinois home for more than 57 years. The Alfaro family have been parishioners of St. Joseph Catholic Church since 1963. The family has always been deeply rooted in their Catholic faith and remain devoted Catholics today. For the past 57 Years, Manuel and Ninfa Alfaro worked hard to raise their family with traditional values of Faith, Love and Compassion.
On Sunday December 31st, a devastating house fire left the Alfaro/Cortez family without a home. The family was able to escape the fire unharmed though the home is no longer habitable for the Alfaro/Cortez family. The estimated damages total over $175,000. While we are grateful the family is safe, the family was unable to salvage any of their personal belongings and have been displaced from their Aurora home. The Alfaro/Cortez family are in need of immediate aid to help rebuild the 57 years of life that was lost in the house fire.
This GoFundMe account has been created to provided financial aid to the Alfaro/Cortez family as they begin the process of rebuilding their lives. We are seeking to raise $20,000 for the Alfaro/Cortez family to help replace their personal belongings to include; Clothes, Food, Appliances and Furniture.
