ALEYA'S VOYAGE TO CHINA 2014
Dear Family and Friends, as you know, my daughter Aleya has been studying Chinese for the past 6 years at WYYPCS, a full immersion Chinese school. Yes, Aleya can read, write and speak Chinese fluently! This is Aleya's last year at WYYPCS (5th grade). At the completion of 5th grade, Aleya's and her classmates have been invited to traveling to China for 2 week in April 2014. The first week will be spent immersing in the Chinese culture, touring Beijing and other historical areas in China. The second week will be spent staying with a Chinese host family and attending class with Chinese speaking children of the same age.
What an awesome experience this will be for Aleya! She will really get to put her Chinese skills to the test. Aleya is extremely excited about this trip and has sacrificed a lot personally, specifically, giving up her 1st love, Cheerleading for a year to make sure that she is able to go China.
This is a very expensive trip. Total cost $6,000 (cost includes airfare and lodging for 1 child and 1 parent). We really want to make this happen for Aleya. Therefore, we really need your help. Our goal is $6000. Any support that you can provide, either monetary or spiritually would be greatly appreciated.
