Alex's Fluffy Buddies For kids❤

Alex was diagnosed with epilepsy at 11 months old. She's had many hospital visits/ stays, testing, and rides in an ambulance due to her seizures that require immediate medical intervention at the onset of a seizure. Her beloved teddy bear, Sky Bear, has been by her side since birth and has brought her great comfort when she needed it most.
When Alex was 4 years old, she had medical testing that required a week stay in hospital. During this stay she noticed there were kids that didn't have a fluffy buddy with them like her Sky Bear. She wanted to take these kids her own stuffed animals so, in her words, they wouldn't be scared.
When we learned only new stuffed animals could be donated due to allergies/ germs, she decided to use her own money she had saved to go to Chuck E Cheese to buy some to donate. And just like that, Alex's Fluffy Buddies was born.
We expanded the places we donate to over the last couple years and are including Ronald McDonald House, local hospitals, and police and fire departments. We've also mailed bears to out-of-state kids we learn about that need a special friend.
Alex is now 7 years old but the project is no where near complete! The demand is reaching a level that her own savings ( and mommy and daddy's) can not substantiate, so we decided to set up a go fund me account for those wanting to donate to her project.
100% of the donations will go to the purchase of new fluffy friends and the costs associated with it such as shipping (when needed), packaging materials etc. All donations will be fully disclosed and regularly updated on her Facebook page, Alex's Fluffy Buddies. Be sure to like and follow our page to stay updated! We will also post lots of pics along the way showing the buddies being purchased and delivered.
If you are unable to donate, please share our campaign so we can grow her audience of those able to help to keep her dream going. The need for these fluffy friends never ends and she plans to continue her project indefinitely!
