In the fall 2016, I began experiencing severe pain in my stomach while still teaching my course at BAU International. I discovered I had cancer in early November 2016. My oncologist started chemo therapy immediately!  She said that my cancer was not operable, so I have to do chemo therapy weekly as long as I live. Furthermore, she mentioned that the cancer had also spread in the lining of my bowel and caused some seeding of the tumor.

On December 12, 2016, my oncologist said I had Stage 4 pancreatic cancer with metastasis in my liver. She gave me one year, plus or minus 3 months, to live, but she said this is based on literature. I have been in chemo ever since, but my forecast has improved as the cancer is responding to the therapy. 

Supporters, I need funds as soon as possible. I live alone and receive only $735 monthly from Social Security.  This is barely enough to make ends meet with very little left over at the end of the month.

The funds will cover some of my immediate life expenses and inevitable emergencies, such as car care, etc.

As you can see, my situation is rather urgent.  No amount of support is too big or too small. I greatly appreciate your concern and support. I welcome you sharing my link with your family and friends. Thank you.
