Alexis' Battle with Brain Cancer

If you've been following Alexis' story, you know that this has been an unexpected, evolving, and difficult journey. Out of nowhere, our lives were changed when Alexis had a seizure back in February on her first day of work as an RN. Soon after, she was diagnosed with brain cancer.

The past several months have been an absolute whirlwind: In February, she had an awake craniotomy to remove the bulk of the tumor, completed radiation treatment in May, and started chemotherapy this June. Though there is no cure for the type of tumor she has, we are incredibly grateful for the top-notch treatment she has received and are eager to get her back on her feet as a nurse instead of a patient!

Alexis is the strongest woman we know and we'd love to support her in any way possible as she completes her treatment.
