Alexis and her family’s hospital bills

My good friend and former client, Alexis was given some tragic news in the recent weeks. She has been diagnosed with a rare brain disease, called pseudotumor cerebri  which is causing severe cerebral swelling due to the excessive cerebral spinal fluid her body is producing. 

I’m starting this gofundme page after she has had five hospital visits in the last month, urgent care visits, and numerous doctors appointments. Alexis has been inpatient at Johns Hopkins since November 25th. What started out as vision issues and migraines has unfolded into brain surgery; the first (likely of many) was on December 8th. 

This journey has resulted in her having to quit her job, and drop out of her BA of Nursing program. The least we can do is help her and her family ease the stress of her medical bills! 

She’s one of the sweetest, most caring, and hard working people you will ever meet. She certainly doesn’t deserve to be going through this. Every little bit helps, even if it’s $5, But if you can’t donate, please share this page with others.
