Alexa’s kidney Transplant

Alexa was diagnosed with stage 5 kidney reflux at age 2. She has had 3 major surgeries to try and fix the reflux and she has spent alot of her life in and out of picu at duke childrens hospital for complications after her surgeries. None have helped. We just currently found out her bladder is not functioning properly! She is now in kidney failure stage. One kidney functions at 2 percent the other at 19 percent. We are looking a kidney donor for her. The surgery for transplant will cost $260,000 and after surgery will cost $140,000 her medication per month will be $1,200. We have been trying to get Medicare for her. I have been back and fourth with them for a few months now.
