Alexandra’s medical expenses

On December 3rd, my 29 year-old daughter Alexandra Mendoza, a single mother of two, was involved in a near-death motorcycle accident while visiting in Guadalajara Mexico. Unfortunately, she was not wearing a motorcycle helmet and the devastating fall left her with severe brain injury, a punctured lung, multiple fractured ribs, and a fractured shoulder. She is currently unconscious and on a ventilator in the ICU. The doctors are keeping a close eye on her in hope that the swelling in her head goes down. Things are improving, the swelling is lessening and she shows signs of some movement, but until she regains her consciousness, she must remain in ICU. Like hospitals in the US, they are costly and we have very few means to pay for the rising bill that is growing each day. This is a bill I am left to pay, as hospitals in Mexico have the right to refuse someone with no means to pay for medical treatment. So far, each day in ICU will cost approximately $1050 and the total is quickly growing. In the short time she has been hospitalized, her bill has risen to over $8,000 and I simply do not have the means to pay it all. I am asking for help so that my daughter may gain consciousness, and survive her tragic accident. I ask that you please help with any donations you can make that would go towards saving the life of my daughter. Please, also keep Alexandra in your prayers so that she may recover soon.

Familiares y amigos, estoy pasando una situacion critica. Mi hija Alexandra tuvo un accidente el Domingo 3. Esta en condicion critica y necesito ayuda para cubrir los gastos medicos. Sufrio un daño cerebral, varias fracturas y esta respirando con un ventilador. Si pueden ayudar, se los agradezco de todo corazón. Les pido que por favor pongan a mi hija en sus horaciones.
