<div>I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help in supporting my brother, Alexander (Boyet as we fondly call him), a 52-year-old husband and father who is one of the hardest-working and most selfless people I know. He and his family is living in Imus, Cavite, Philippines.

<div>For over a month, he has been experiencing severe headaches. He thought it was just eye strain, so he went to get eyeglasses. His headaches persisted, and he went to see another doctor, who gave him medicines for migraines and vertigo. Just recently, Alexander was rushed to the hospital and finally diagnosed with Cryptococcal Meningitis and Hydrocephalus—a life-threatening combination. He is currently in critical condition, unable to work, and entirely dependent on urgent medical care to survive.

<div>To stabilize his condition, Alexander has already undergone intensive hospital treatment and emergency care. And had the first surgery to treat hydrocephalus. However, he still needs:

<div>Ventriculostomy Kit, PHP 41,184

<div>And 14 days of high-cost antifungal antibiotics to fight the fungal infection at PHP 11,000/vials, four daily for 14 days. Total would be PHP616,000.00

<div>These treatments are not optional—they are life-saving. But they are also costly.
