Alex's Mission to Help Others 2018

Alexandra is an 8-year-old from Charlotte, North Carolina on a mission to help families in need on Thanksgiving.  You may remember her fundraiser from last year; she set out to raise enough money to provide Charlotte Rescue Mission with 10 Thanksgiving food boxes.  She not only met that goal but exceeded it ten times over and provided Charlotte Rescue Mission with 100 food boxes and 17 turkeys. It was a phenomenal experience for her to watch her community come together and help those in need.  She raised 100% of the money for those boxes by hosting lemonade stands, bake sales, making phone calls to friends and neighbors, and even giving a presentation to her class. 
 
Her goal this year is to raise enough money to provide 101 Thanksgiving food boxes for Charlotte Rescue Mission.  It’s a big goal but she has a big heart and we know she can do it. 100% of the money she raises will go to providing Charlotte Rescue Mission with their Thanksgiving Day Food Boxes.  Each box will cost approximately $15 must contain the following:

Container/Box – Small packing box, dimensions 16-3/8” x 12-5/8” x 12-5/8”
Green beans                                  38oz can
Whole kernel corn                        29oz can
Cut sweet yams                             40oz can
Cranberry sauce                            14oz can
Stove Top Stuffing Mix                6oz box
Turkey or Brown gravy mix         1 package
Boil-n-Bag Rice, 4 count              14oz box
Dry Pie Crust Mix                         Betty Crocker Pie Crust Mix (11oz) or Jiffy Pie Crust Mix (9oz)
Cherry or Apple Pie Filling          21oz can
Disposable Baking Pan for Pie     8” x 8”
