I Am Always With You

When I am gone, release me, let me go.
I have so many things to see and do,
You mustn’t tie yourself to me with too many tears,
But be thankful we had so many good years.
I gave you my love, and you can only guess
How much you’ve given me in happiness.
I thank you for the love that you have shown,
But now it is time I traveled on alone.
So grieve for me a while, if grieve you must
Then let your grief be comforted by trust
That it is only for a while that we must part,
So treasure the memories within your heart.
I won’t be far away for life goes on.
And if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can’t see or touch me, I will be near
And if you listen with your heart, you’ll always hear.

On Saturday, August 3, 2019, Alexander J. Mari, father, son, and brother, passed away suddenly at the age of 29 years. Born April 27,1990 of Bristol, Alexander enjoyed his life and wanted nothing more than to be a devoted member of his very close family. The exceptionally strong bond between Alex and his siblings is uncommon. His Mother Kim was his best friend and strongest ally.
Alexander’s whole life changed in June 2016 with the birth of his first and only daughter Lanessa. This miniature version of him instantaneously became his driving force. He loved her more than anything and was fully committed to her. He recently taught her how to swim and spent endless days playing outside enjoying the summer with her. He lived for her and will forever continue to live through her. He was a distinguished father!
Alex was a loving, caring and hilarious person who was passionate about many things cars, motorcycles and sports. His favorite sport was football. He watched every Patriots game and shared his passion for sports with all of his family and friends.
Alex will be forever remembered by his precious daughter Lanessa Mari, by his parents Kim and Leo Mari and by his brothers Matt Mari and Jon Mari and little sister Nicole Mari. Alex will also be forever remembered by his aunt Brenda, uncle Richard and grandmothers Barbara and Anna, his niece Autumn, and nephew Jahsiir. Also, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Celebration in memory of Alex will be held on Saturday 1pm at O’Brian Funeral Home.

Memorial donations in memory of Alex may be made through go fund me or directly through O’Brian Funeral Home.
