Alex Opsahl & Ian Pritchard - LA fire help - their home gone

My name is Jonny Byers. I'm from London, and I've been a friend of Alex and Ian since we were all at the Royal Academy of Music together.

Alex and Ian have had their family home destroyed by the wildfires that are ripping through California at the moment. Their beautiful home in Altadena is gone. The whole block. All their instruments - Ian's harpsichords, fortepiano, clavichord and Alex's countless recorders - all gone. Nothing left. No news yet about the safety of their cats.

It's simply unimaginable.

They are en route back to LAX from London today.

They don't know I'm setting this page up, but I felt that a gofundme page would mean that if we wanted to show our support in a practical way, we can donate how ever much or little as we can, to help them get through the coming days, weeks and months.

I hope these funds can be used to help them get their family back on its feet as they'll need new everything.

They will have to rebuild their lives, so I hope that some help from caring friends and fellow musicians will be welcome.
