To everyone who may not yet have heard the news, A senseless tragedy has left a small, close-knit group of friends and co workers at TMCD struggling to absorb the devastating news that our beloved friend Alejandro (Alex) Hernandez, died at the hand of another in the early Sunday Morning hours February 11th 2018 on Walnut Hill in Northwest Dallas
The worst part is there was no absolutely no warning. One day he’s alive and enjoying his modest life struggling to make ends meet, sending what little that was left back to his family, and Just like that, only 45 years of age died at the hands of an irrepressible 23 year old who was drinking and driving. He's gone and theres just no sense to it.
Alex, was a fixture in the kitchen for 2 decades who was a hard worker, loved by many and whose only purpose was to work and provide for his sister and elderly blind father residing back in Mexico. He was quite the funny man who lived a very modest lifestyle but to everyone who knew and loved him also knew that he would give you the shirt off his back to anyone in need.
It is his sisters wish to have his body sent back to Mexico where his body can be laid to rest along side his mother. At this point his body is being held at the local morgue pending the raising of some funds to have his body transferred home. The body preperation, release and transfer to his home country in addition to his funeral expenses are leaving his father and sister at the mercy and kindess of his friends.
We have already had numerous emails, texts and messages from people asking how to help, So here it is!
We are asking that you contribute whatever possible to the memory our beloved friends family to help them in this horrific time of need.
