Alex was hugely popular and much loved member of the community.
He was passionate about theatre, and believed strongly that art and culture has an important role to play in Herefordshire.
Alex performed in theatre productions for over two decades, as well as acting in television and film.
He was kind, intelligent, funny, and brought a lot of joy and laughter to many.
Despite this, Alex battled serious depression throughout his life, and in May 2017, sadly decided to end his life. He was 31.
The Alex Evans Fund was set up to provide a counselling and listening service for young adults, and to provide access to high-quality training in theatre arts in Herefordshire.
