Alex Estes was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia at the very young age of 25. He recently began treatments, which include an allogeneic stem cell transplant, chemotherapy and radiation.
On top of these treatments, he will also be taking Anti-Rejection medication, Immune System Boosters, and other miscellaneous daily medications. Now while his age helps with recovery, it doesn't do much in the way of helping him afford his medical expenses. We would like to help with the burden of covering his out of pocket medical expenses - with the initial goal to cover his medications. For a minimum of 6 months (up to 3 years) post treatment, Alex will be taking anti-rejection medication, immune system boosters and several other daily medications. These run over $1,600 each month!
