Hallo. Ich bin Denise. Mama von 5 Kindern. 

Mein 4ter Sohn, Alessio, ist mit einer sehr seltenen Krankheit auf die Welt gekommen. Septo optische dysplasie. Er ist leider blind. Zudem benötigt er auch schon wachstumshormone ,da Alessio auch nicht mehr gewachsen ist. 

Wir geben aber noch lange nicht auf, und suchen immer weiter nach Behandlungsmethoden für ihn damit er seine Geliebte kleine Schwester sehen kann oder auch die Farben der Welt. Alessio ist ein soooo liebevoller freundlicher junge. Er hat im ersten Lebensjahr so viel mitmachen müssen an Untersuchungen und Krankenhaus Aufenthalten. Bis letzen Endes die Diagnose stand. 

Der Befund : : Kein Nachweis von Diffusionsstorung. Das Septum pellucidum nicht angelegt. Das 

Chiasma opticum sowie die Sehnerven extrem schmachtig. Die Hypophyse nahezu nicht nachweisbar und zu 

klein. Unauffallige Grau-Weiß-Differenzierung. Beginnende Myelinisierung, zeitgerecht. Kein Nachweis kortikaler 

Veranderungen. Der infratentorielle Befund unauffallig. 

In Zusammenschau liegt eine septooptische Dysplasie vor. 

Es lohnt sich zu kämpfen, das hat Alessio so verdient. Wir geben nicht auf, jedes Prozent Sehkraft und jeder Entwicklungsfortschritt bringt ein Stück mehr Lebensqualität und macht den einst traumatisierten, ängstlichen jungen mutiger. 
 
Eine teure Elektrostimulationstherapie in Berlin, die von der Krankenkasse nicht bezahlt wird, könnte uns helfen. Diese zweiwöchige Therapie muss mehrmals wiederholt werden, um langfristige Fortschritte und Erfolge zu erzielen. Mit 7 Jahren ist die Entwicklung der Augen abgeschlossen, bis dahin können noch einige Behandlungen durchgeführt werden. Danach ist es zu spät und nichts mehr zu ändern. Wir haben keine Zeit zu verlieren und versuchen so viele Therapiesitzungen wie möglich zu bekommen. 
 
Wir stehen im Kontakt zu einem anderen Mädchen was dort schon behandelt wurde und sie sieht etwas , nimmt umrisse wahr, greift nach Gegenstände. Ich würde mein Leben geben, um meinem Sohn diese Möglichkeit geben zu können. Daher weiß ich mir keinem anderen Rat, als hier um Hilfe zu bitten und dies über Spenden ihm ermöglichen zu können. 

Die Therapie wirkt sich auch positiv auf andere Bereiche des Gehirns aus. Eine 2-wöchige Therapie, die alle 6 Monate wiederholt werden kann, kostet 12.000 Euro.

Mi cuarto hijo Alessio nació con una enfermedad rara. Displasia septo-

óptica por la que está ciego. Encima le tenemos que poner inyecciones de

crecimiento porque ya no ha crecido.
 
Claramente no nos damos por vencido y seguimos buscando métodos de

tratamiento para el para que pueda ver a sus hermanos, que lo aman tanto

los colores de este mundo. Alessio es un niño tan cariñoso y amable. Ha

tenido que pasar por tantos reconocimientos y tratamientos en el hospital

durante su primer año de vida hasta que recibio su diagnóstico.
 
El diagnóstico:
 
No hay evidencia de perturbación de la difusión. No se crea el septum

pellucidum. El quiasma óptico y los nervios ópticos son extremadamente

débiles. La glándula pituitaria es casi imperceptible y demasiado pequeña

Discreta diferenciación gris-blanca. Mielinización incipiente, oportuna. No

hay evidencia de cambios corticales. Los hallazgos infratentoriales no

fueron notables. En conjunto, existe displasia septoóptica.
 
Vale la pena luchar por ello, Alessio se lo merece. No nos rendimos, cada

porcentaje de visión y cada progreso en el desarrollo aporta un poco más de

calidad de vida y hace que el peque algo traumatizado y miedoso sea más

valiente.
 
La costosa terapia de estimulación eléctrica en Berlín, que no está cubierta

por el seguro de salud, podría ayudarnos. Esta terapia de dos semanas debe

repetirse varias veces para lograr progreso y éxito a largo plazo. A los 7 años

el desarrollo de los ojos está terminado y hasta entonces todavia se pueden

realizar algunos tratamientos. Después ya es demasiado tarde y no se

puede cambiar nada. No tenemos tiempo que perder e intentamos

conseguir tantas sesiones de terapia como sea posible.
 
Estamos en contacto con otra niña que ya fue atendida allíy ve algo, nota

contornos, agarra objetos. Daría mi vida por darle a mi hijo esta oportunidad,

La terapia también tiene un efecto positivo en otras áreas del cerebro. Una

terapia de dos semanas, que se puede repetir cada seis meses, cuesta

12.000 euros.
