On May 9th 2017 my daughter Haylie and son in law Greg Pfersich were estatic to find out they were pregnant.
Soon after the excitement they were met with their first challenge of finding out that Haylie was having twins and that they had twin to twin transfusion syndrome.
Haylie then had to stop working and was put on bed rest at 20 weeks of pregnancy. On Septemeber 23, only 23 weeks and 2 days into her pregnancy Haylie gave birth to two beautiful twin boys, Aleksandr and Spencer Pfersich.
Aleksandr passed away five days later, Spencer continues to fight for his life in the Nicu.
What was suppose to be the most exciting time of their life has lead to grief, financial burdens of needing to bury Aleksandr and give him the proper burial, as well as medical expenses that continue to accumulate. Aleksandr's body is still in the morgue and we are hoping to give him a proper burial.
On top of the burial and medical costs both parents have been by Spencers side daily, which means they have no income from work, and will have a long battle with medical bills and the healing that will come after losing a child.
They are the most sincere, heartfelt, and giving people. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
