This past week we started the application process for Alejandro to become a permanent resident. We were under the impression that it was going to go smoothly. We thought we we would only have to raise about $2,000 dollars for the paperwork and lawyer. But we hit a wall with one lawyer leading us to believe that we had options that were not options we were willing to take. With that being said, we have found another lawyer who is a bit more money, but who fully understands the situation and is helping us with all of the paperwork, interview appointment and any questions we have in between. The new number we are having to raise is $4,500 dollars. We know that it will come in, we know that it will all be taken care of -the only problem is that we have to have the rest of the money by Wednesday - with the date on Alejandro's vistior visa fast approaching, we have to have the paperwork started ASAP.
We are very thankful for anything we recieve. VERY THANKFUL.
