Alejandra's mend to recovery

Donation protected

I am starting this fundraiser for my close friend Alejandra Posadas and her family. You may have seen Alex around St Joseph High School or Grande Prairie Mall where she used to work at OPA. You would of recognised her for her short height and her bowed legs, which has gave her health disadvantages since birth. With Alex's family immigrating to Canada, she has been given the opportunity to have corrective surgery on her legs. In August 2017, she went to Stollery's Children Hospital in Edmonton, where she has one leg operated on. As the surgery was very advanced and new to the doctor's in Alberta, they require Alex and family to travel to Edmonton weekly for checkups and making sure everything is going well. Surgery was successful and she is on the mend to recovery. However, Alejandra's mother, Suselh Posadas is a single parent to Alex and little sister. Suselh is unable to work as she has to take care of her daughter full time, so the family doesn't have a steady income to rely on. Alex's surgery will take months to recover as she has only had one leg operated on. With a low income it's difficult to travel every week or so to Edmonton. This fundraiser is to help to provide the Posadas family with extra income for basic needs like medical expenses, gas, groceries etc. Overall, Alejandra is a tough girl and is always smiling, even after everything she's been through. She deserves all the help she can get. And anything you can contribute, would help tremendously. Thank you so much.
