Alec White Scholarship Fund

Its with heavy hearts I am sitting here writing this.. As many of you know, Alec White took his own life this past weekend. When people met Alec, he was the type of person who could make you smile even on your worst days. He always put others before him and never thought twice. He was an outgoing, crazy type of guy. As his sister Joli would say "He was my handsome, crazy, talented brother." But what many of us did not know, was he was suffering from a bad illness; Depression. Everyone shows their depression in many different ways, and unfortunatly Alec was reserved about his. He did not tell many people about what was going on, because he did not want people to worry about him. He did not want to see them sad over him. Alec has touched so many lives, to many to count. Whether he knew it or not, he was loved by so many. I have talked with the family, and they would like to honor Alec by donating all funds raised to a scholarship in remeberence of him. With this scholarship, they are hoping to bring more awareness to Suicide Prevention. I did some research and it breaks my heart.. But every 40 seconds, someoneis commiting suicide.
