Friends and loved ones, 

We need your help! Please help support Aldona Rygelis and her daughters, Ona and Emilija.

As many of you have heard, our dear Aldona is unexpectedly facing some immense medical difficulties. She is undergoing treatment in NYC. While many things about her condition are still unknown, we do know that she will continue to be in and out of the hospital for quite some time, and is facing a long road of ongoing treatment.

Although it's turned their world upside down, Ona and Emilija have shown up as superheroes. They have been a constant support to Aldona. In the past month, they've become her primary caretakers, nurses, planners, and advocates. It brings Aldona great comfort to be with them.

This fundraiser will help cover all medical, home, and care-taking costs for Aldona, and offset the bills that have already started piling up. Our goal is to get Aldona comfortable, and allow Ona and Emilija to spend as much time as they can with with their mama as she navigates the next few weeks - without the constant pressure and worry about paying bills, rent, and overall concern of their very being.

If you know Aldona, you know what an amazing, curious, profound, gentle, and generous person she is. She leaves a deep imprint on anyone she meets, and her laughter is infectious and unmatched in its joy.
