Albury Family Hurricane Dorian Recovery

If you are thinking about donating to help hurricane Dorian victims in the Bahamas, please consider helping out the Albury Family. My name is Mimi Bagnasco and I'm from Houston, Texas. My daughter Olivia is Raquel Albury's suite-mate at Anderson University in South Carolina, and she and her family live in Marsh Harbour, Abaco Island in the Bahamas, the hardest hit area of the island. As you have seen the immense devastation on the news, they were among those that have lost their home and their business.
Raquel went through an excruciating 2 days without being able to communicate with her parents since all lines of communication on the island were down. When she finally received word from her brother, she was relieved to hear that her parents were fine but their home was gone. As you can imagine, this will be a long-term recovery effort for them and their fellow Bahamians, as they have practically lost everything they own, including Troy's (dad) workshop.
Raquel and Olivia live on campus in a quad with 6 other lovely young ladies - Peyton Nease, Porter Rivers, Vienna Defalco, Georgia Stickler, Mabry Smith and Gabi Ditommaso - and they have already started their own fund-raising campaign to help their friend and roommate. Together with these young ladies' parents, we are doing what we can to help them out. The amount of money that they will need to rebuild their lives is immeasurable at this time but we would like to start with something to get them started with basic necessities, food, temporary shelter, clothes, medical care, etc...and of course living and education expenses for Raquel while she is here in the states attending school. As of today, Friday, September 9th, the Albury's are in the process of evacuating Marsh Harbour and relocating to temporary shelter. As soon as they are in a location with internet connection, we will set them up on this campaign so they are able to make direct withdrawals from their GoFundMe account. We are hoping that will be as soon as this coming week-end. We will update you when that happens.
This family is strong in their faith and they need us to be the hands and feet of Christ during this very difficult trial.
