Alberto and Amor - a Dad and son who in great need

I am asking for your help for Alberto and Amor with their past rent and medical needs.  As the President of  the Society of St Vincent de Paul at St Joseph Church in Pomona, I have had the pleasure to know and work with Alberto and Amor for a number of years.  Alberto has brought up his son alone since infancy. There are no other family members who can support them.  Alberto is a very beloved, caring and responsible Dad.  Due to illnesses he has not been able to work for 6 years. He is receiving  $560 in Cash Aid and $400 in Food Stamps. His rent alone (for one bedroom in a home)uses up his monthly income. Amor was diagnosed with Covid in March. He recovered and is currently not showing any signs of the virus. Unfortunately, after multiple strokes, Alberto has been diagnosed and is suffering daily from Covid. There is no one else who can take care of Amor.  This is a very dire situation.
I am asking for your donations to help Alberto to catch up on his rent.  This will be done through our Vincentian group. Anything over our requested amount of $3,000 will go to the housing, medical needs and living expenses of this family.
