Alba Family Support

UPDATE:

STORY:
Mr. & Mrs. Alba are a loving couple who have been married 37 years.  They have lived in Channelview for 10 years.  They raised and share their love with four children and two grand-daughters. 

COVID-19 has made life extremely difficult for all of us this year. As the Thanksgiving holidays began, the challenges the pandemic created were magnified when Mrs. Alba was diagnosed with cancer. As the family began to prepare for Mrs. Alba’s first chemotherapy session, Mr. and Mrs. Alba’s house burned down, on Christmas Eve. They were with their four children, their children’s partners, and two grandchildren when this tragedy happened. Unfortunately, one of the family pets did not make it out safely and 99% of their belongings were lost in the house fire.

Family and friends have reciprocated the love and generosity bestowed upon them over the years by the Albas.  They are temporarily leasing a home that was provided by a generous family friend and Exclusive Furniture immediately committed to furnishing the home, but they still have a long road to recovery.  

Friends of Jason & Sanjuanita (Alba's daughter) are creating this page to raise funds in support of Mr. & Mrs. Alba and to share the following centralized list of items still needed for those who would like to donate specific items.
