Behind Amazon's Big Blue Walls of Silence
In June 2022, ALB1, the Schodack NY Amazon warehouse, began unionizing efforts with the ALU. During our campaign, Amazon has increased efforts to threaten, harass and terminate employees in retaliation for their participation. Workers have received multiple text messages instructing employees NOT TO SIGN A CARD. The anti-union propaganda has been so aggressive that managers have started verbally attacking organizers in the parking lot. (see below)
We are encouraging employees to stand up against these bullying tactics by providing a workers fund and legal resources in the event they are retaliated against. We deserve a campaign free from fear. Please help our workers by donating to the Alb1 Schodack Union Employee Retaliation Fund. We would like to support workers by donating two weeks of pay in the event they are retaliated against for participating in the ALB1 union campaign. This donation would help provide a small resource necessary to be free from fear of retaliation.

The hostile work environment created by anti-union tactics has escalated to managers calling union leaders/workers "monkeys" in a "circus" and signing a "stupid piece of paper."
