Alarming Hardship

Jay may not have long to live. He needs a liver transplant but very little time to wait for a possible donor. He has been in and out of the hospital for the last two years. The most recent time was just last week, when he left the ICU and was forced to sleep in his car because he had no place to go. He then went to a motel which is paid for until Sunday. I cannot begin to express the urgency of getting him a place to stay without him resirting to living in his car, as the only option.
The reasons why he’s in this situation are irrelevant. Every human being deserves to take his last breath with dignity and the knowledge that he lived his life in the only way he knew how. I hold a special place in my heart for this man, once my brother-in-law, who I think deserves, a peaceful end. Jay needs room and board, and your kind donations, however minimal, will help provide a roof over his head.
