Alan's healing fund

Alan is one of our dearest friends who was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma in March. As you can imagine it was devastating news not only for Alan and his family but for all of us who know and love him.
Yet through all of the difficult months he has endured, we have never heard him express any anger or resentment. He is tackling this disease which such dignity and positivity - it is something we genuinely admire and we are certain that anyone who knows Alan feels the same way.
Even though his treatment ended (which we are all so grateful for !!!); sometimes there is a misconception that things will immediately be back to "normal" but in reality the impact this disease takes on you both physically and emotionally goes well beyond treatment.
We discovered recently that Alan used all of his paid time off while undergoing treatment so any additional time he needs over the next several months will not be covered.
So our motivation for starting this Go Fund Me account is to help his family offset some of the unexpected expenses they will face while he is healing.
It is our hope that we can raise enough money to ease their financial burden while Alan takes time to regain his strength and recover.
We hope you will open your hearts to Alan and his family during their difficult journey.
