My name is Keith Russell.My daughter Alanna is 7 years old. Alanna has spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy she is wheel chair bound. My self and Alanna are taking on Dublin City marathon in October 2017 where I will push her the full 26.2 miles. It will be my first ever marathon and I get to share it with Alanna.
The Meadows respite care home in Navan that Alanna attends although HSE run, have to fund raise for the up keep of the house and transport.
Our goal for the coming year is to raise enough money to replace there 12 year old wheelchair accessible bus with a brand new one. This will be something that over 70 children will get use of.
It's a massive undertaking but we like to aim high , we will need all the help and support we can get.
We will have plenty of running events coming up in the new year and would love people to join us and raise a few pound for a great cause... thanks
