Alanna Nagi Memorial Scholarship

Alanna Nagi graduated from Lakeland High School in 2011. While at Lakeland, Alanna was involved in Varsity Poms, DECA, Leadership, and School Store. A dedicated, smart, kind, positive person, Alanna made friends easily and lit up every room she entered with her smile. After graduation Alanna went on to Madonna University for her freshman year of college and then transferred to Central Michigan University to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Logistics, graduating in December 2015.

On July 25th, 2017 Alanna tragically passed away at the young age of 23. In her memory her family and friends set up this scholarship to award a student who demonstrated the qualities that made Alanna the amazing person they know and love. Applicants must demonstrate compassion towards others, positivity, and cheerfulness. Alanna was a special woman who touched the lives of everyone she encountered. She always saw the good in others and had a zest of life and travel that many people only dream of. With this scholarship, her family and friends hope to encourage others to live like Alanna and keep her memory alive at Lakeland.

Alanna is my best friend and I miss her everyday. We hope to be able to remember her and continue her legacy through this scholarship. $5,000 would get us 10 years worth of scholarships. Please consider giving any money that you can.
