Alann Needs Our Help

As many of you know Alann started a GoFundMe campaign to help me with my expenses as I struggled with some medical issues back in February, I never thought I would be returning the favor like I am now.
A couple months ago, Alann went to the doctor due to blood in his urine, although it didn't last long there was enough cause for concern to warrant an MRI of his kidneys which he had done last week. A large mass has been found on his right kidney and we met with a urologist today who told us that it's cancer. This was quite a shock, we didn't know that this would be determined so quickly. So, our next step was to have a chest x-ray to check for spots on his lungs, we are waiting for those results. Monday, he will go in for a biopsy to know exactly what we're dealing with and the doctor will also put in a stint to help drain the kidney. The biopsy will let us know if the cancer is just in the kidney or if it's spread to the kidney lining and bladder. The right kidney will be removed, the doctor said it is not savable. He will also need to meet with an oncologist to determine if chemo is necessary before the kidney is removed. We are truly lucky for the blood in his urine because without it we wouldn’t have found this out as he currently has no other symptoms. We told his children, Nell (11) and PJ (10), tonight which was heartbreaking to say the least. We didn't want to wait because things are happening pretty quickly and we certainly didn't want to run the risk of them overhearing anything.
Last year Alann lost his full-time job which has left him struggling to make ends meet and with not so great insurance. Unfortunately, now the medical expenses are going to pile up quickly. We are going to do all we can to help ease his financial burden starting with moving out of our townhouse. However, he will definitely need some assistance. I have completely estimated the amount needed, it may be more, it may be less and I will adjust things accordingly as we move forward.
