Help Lack Family Pay Medical Bills
Donation protected
Hey Hockey Family,
As I’m sure you all know, Alan Lack from The Romford Raiders had (and has planned for the next two years) extensive dental work and bone reconstruction surgeries due to an ice hockey injury that has left his young family with medical bills upwards of £10,000.
I’m naming Alan as the beneficiary, of course. I only set this up after reading his recent post about the bills, which can’t help a family with two small children. Please help if you can. Any amount is welcome!
If you don’t know the harrowing story, here it is in his own words from his Facebook page:
“On Saturday playing I took a slapshot to my face. This had lead to a fracture on my maxilla bone. Loosing 2 teeth (which they are starting to save), chipping 2, and dislodging a future 4. I also spilt my top and bottom lip from the gum, so that has been stitched back together.
Then for the big spilt. I had a spilt separating my bottom lip which was all the way through which took around the 54 stitches to put back together.
Overall I have had nearly 100 stitches.”
