Alan's Medical Fund

Ohana means family.
For those of you that are lucky enough to know Alan Bauer, you know just how contagious his smile is. His love for life, his son, his family, his work, scuba diving, his girlfriend (my mother) and for her children and her family is grandiose. Alan is known for his jokes and laughter, embarrassing his son (who has grown to go along with it) and making inappropriate comments just to watch you squirm. Most of all, Alan is known for his reliability, his willingness to help, and his self-proclaimed motto, "You gotta laugh. Yo."
Yesterday Alan was admitted to UMC where he underwent an invasive surgery. To say this is an extremely scary and anxious time in Alan's life is an understatement. But it doesn't end here and he has a long road ahead of him.
If you have ever met Alan, in person or on the internet, through work or through friends, I beg of you to donate whatever you can. Any little bit helps and it's beyond appreciated.

From one of Alan's more recent posts:
"And just when you think it can't get any better... it does. I freaking love life.
yo"

Let us keep proving him right.
