Alan and Lauren Adopt

Alan and I are excited to share that we are growing our family through domestic infant adoption. We need your help in the form of prayers and emotional and financial support.

How we came to decide to adopt:

I have known since I was a teenager that I would have difficulty having a child of my own. Due to that and a high statistical probability of miscarriage, Alan and I decided that we didn’t want to go down the road of fertility treatments and everything that involves. Instead, when we decided that we wanted to become parents, we started to research the adoption process. Since Alan was adopted, this was the natural path for us to take.

Adoption consists of many fees and we need the help of our family, friends and community for financial support. Our main fundraiser will consist of the Adoption Puzzle Fundraiser.

Here's how it works:

We purchased a 520 piece puzzle and are “selling” each piece for $20. You can always choose to buy more than one! When we sell all 520 pieces, we will have close to the amount that we need to raise to offset costs for the adoption, which is about $10,000. To purchase a piece, you can donate via go fund me.com. Once you purchase a piece (or more) we will write your name on the back of the puzzle piece(s). Once all of the pieces have been sold, we will hang the puzzle in a double sided glass frame for our child’s room.
