Please help Alana get into a sober living house.
She is graduating from Choice recovery in South Bend Indiana on October 30th and wants to continue her recovery at a sober living house in Florida. For her to stay on this path, it is important that she live in a house with other recovering addicts. These recovering addicts are all drug tested daily, get jobs and share responsibilities at the house. They are monitored daily and have to qualify to enter in to the program. Alana has been accepted because of her attidude and enthusiasm toward her recovery. This is her 2nd go around and she wants to get it right this time. Her first time was at Glenbeigh in August 2014. She was healthy and drug free. A week after she got out.. her Father passed. This put her into a tailspin and she relapsed. She Left for North Carolina for a short time then She reached out to me in August and told me that she needed to get back in recovery. This is a huge step for most addicts to admit and realize that they cant do it alone! She has been doing GREAT and has learned a lot about herself while there. Alana needs to raise money so she can continue her healing and recovery at a sober living house in Florida. We just cant do it alone!
This is extremely important for her and other addicts who need long term recovery.
Every day you hear someone else has lost a son/daughter/familymember/neighbor/coworker to drug overdose. The problem is they are not getting the help they need. These addicts cant go it alone. They get out of rehab and enter the same world they left. They get right back in to the old lifestyle they knew and then back to using again. Insurance companies will not cover sober living for these addicts. It falls on the family members. Please help ALana! She is such a joy! If you can donate anything at all! It all adds up and will go straight to her expenses at the house. Thank you! god bless!
