Alan Reed Medical Fund

Our friend,  Alan P.  (Palouse) Reed,  aka the Big  A, appears to have beaten the rare blood disorder that damned near killed him.

This week he goes back to work as a sports photographer at KING-TV.

Amazing!  

What a turn from the time when doctors gave him just a few months to live and wanted to send him to California for a heart transplant. 

Alan showed a gritty toughness during those dark days.
But now he faces a new challenge -- paying off all those medical bills.  

It all seems so unfair.  Alan is a workhorse with a heart of gold and a good insurance plan.  But despite doing everything right,  this next chapter of his life is going to be another hard one. 

Let's try to take the edge off of it.
