This is Alan Brown aka Uncle Donkey. On Wednesday December 20 Alan will be entering the new Hospice Home in York. The home is so new Alan will be the very first inpatient resident. Alan has lived with us for the past two years and now he requires 24 hour around the clock trained care. He is no longer able to stand on his own or care for himself and we cannot meet all the demands and needs he now has. As difficult a decision as this is it is the best decision for Alan as he enters his final days and weeks.
The cost of the home far exceeds Alan’s ability to meet the expense. We are hoping to raise enough to cover the cost of his care and any remaining balance will help defray the expected funeral expense.
The need for funding is immediate and 100% of any and all monies raised will go directly to Alan’s care.
