Alaina Simone Martinez

Hello, we are the family of Alaina Simone Martinez, we are starting this fundraiser to raise money for our beloved daughter, sister and friend. Alaina Simone was a poster child for joy, purity, unconditional love, kindness and innocence to all around her. Alaina was a senior at Denver North High school and was supposed to graduate in the spring of 2023. Alaina was an artistic student and had big dreams of going to college to become a veterinarian as she had a love connection with animals. She was everything to everyone who crossed paths with her. For her to be taken from us so young is life changing and the most traumatic event that anyone, much less parents could ever imagine.

Alaina was tragically murdered in a drive by shooting on the morning of October 15, 2022. Alaina was one of 8 victims harmed that night, but unfortunately, she was the only person that died. She was transferred quickly to the hospital where she was pronounced dead upon arrival. We are coming to the media for justice and hoping for accountability. It has been six months and no one has been arrested. We are pleading with members of the community that someone come forward with information to help us find justice. We are heartbroken over this traumatic tragedy and are asking for contributions for expenses relating to her death and our fight for justice. There is no place for this type of violence in the world and especially not toward innocent children any time of day or night.
