I started this fundraiser during an earlier phase of my health journey. Since then, things have gotten harder. Every day is a physical and emotional battle. I’m in pain almost constantly — not just in one place, but throughout my joints and tendons. I’ve done everything I can to push through, to stay hopeful, to keep trying to get better. But right now, I’m exhausted. I’m still doing what I need to do — going to appointments, using the medical devices that give me any relief, trying to stay afloat — but I can’t keep pretending it’s okay. I need help. I’m reaching out because I’m in a tough spot and could really use your support. After a long battle with Social Security, my benefits were denied despite winning a positive hearing. The good news is that my case is currently being reviewed and appealed at the federal level, and there’s a strong chance it will be approved.

The difficult part is that this process is expected to take 12 to 15 months—time I don’t have to spare. With cancer, diabetes, and multiple health challenges, I’m struggling to keep up with basic living expenses.

I’ve calculated that $500 a month would cover essential costs for me and my cats to get by.
