More information about The Children's Fund for Glycogen Storage Disease Research: The Children's Fund for GSD Research is committed to funding research so that children born with GSD1 will benefit from early detection, treatment, and an eventual cure. We have raised over $6 million since our inception in 2002 and have granted awards to the most promising researchers and institutions in the field. We are 100% volunteer based so virtually ever dollar we raise is used to support our mission. We are currently in phase 2 of human clinical trials. A cure is on the horizon.
