Cancer steals EVERYTHING including PRIDE.  It's quite a statement and unfortunately true for most people fighting cancer.  As many of you know, my family and I have been in an 8 year battle for my life, but today, I am at a critical stage needing medication and medical care crucial for survival. 

Unfortunately, no matter how much money has been placed in savings, planned for retirement or invested in all the 'right' places, cancer has gutted those accounts.  There is nothing left.  We invested in the right things; just like we are supposed to, to save for our daughter's education and our golden years.  Unfortunately, cancer has stripped every aspect of our life and dreams away.
