In Loving Memory of Donald Dowell

June 1, 1944 – August 7, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Dowell on August 7, 2025. Born in Trenton, Missouri, Donald lived a life full of hard work, love, and simple joys.

He worked for many years at See’s Candies and in various warehouse positions, always providing for his family with quiet strength and dedication. Outside of work, Donald was passionate about the outdoors. He loved fishing, hiking, and climbing mountains. On Sundays, you could always find him watching NASCAR or cheering on his favorite football teams.

Donald was a devoted husband, married to the love of his life, Betty Dowell, for 64 wonderful years. Their lifelong bond was built on love, faith, and commitment, and it stood as a true example of enduring partnership.

One of Donald’s final wishes was to be cremated and have his ashes returned to his hometown in Missouri, where they will be lovingly spread in the place he always considered home.

We are asking for help with covering the unexpected hospital expenses, travel costs to fulfill his final wishes, and burial-related expenses. Unfortunately, Donald did not have a life insurance policy, and these costs have become a significant burden on our family.
