In the name of Allah (God), the Beneficent, the most Merciful.
On May 11, 2016 three of my daughters were in a life threatening automobile accident. My 18 year old daughter Safiyyah Muhammad was driving, my 7 year old daughter Akhirah Muhammad was in the passenger seat, and my 10 year old daughter Maryam Muhammad was in the back seat, all wearing seat belts. They were approaching a traffic light going southbound, and was hit by a 60,000 pound fire truck, that was traveling northbound making a turn, when the fire truck hit my daughters vehicle.
The Clayton County Fire Chief said, that it was the worst automobile accident he had ever witnessed. He was also amazed to know that all my daughters survived. This catastrophic accident took place on my daughter, Ahkirah's, 7 year birth anniversary. My daughters were in route to take Akhirah to get birth-anniversary gifts when the accident transpired.
As a result of this accident, our lives have changed forever. Akhirah is permanently brain damaged and completely dependent; helpless. She has lost the ability to eat on her own, walk, speak, and even suffers from epilepsy. We are asking for your support to purchase medical equipment and to pursue medical treatment that can reverse the damage of this horrific accident. We are also in a legal battle with Clayton County and Mercedes Benz for their role in this devastating accident. The funds will also contribute to assisting us with the legal fees.
