Hi! Akeylah Simone here with some awesome news…. I’m recording my first album!! The personal journey I’ve endured over the last year has inspired a new story I’d love to share with you through music.

With your encouragement, I began recording and releasing my own music just a couple years ago and we hit the ground running! We've recorded lots more music, won some awards, nominated for plenty, traveled to perform and even Headlined our first festival!! We’ve made some huge moves in a short period of time but none of it would have been possible without your support! And with that support, I’ve been able to put together a new collection of music for my first album release! Through networking, marketing and just a common love for music, we’ve put together a team of musicians, producers, engineers, promoters, marketing professionals and other creators to make this happen and PUSH IT! We are prepared to market this project on the big scale!

With your help, this funding will go towards:

$6400 for Recording: studio sessions, session musicians, producing, engineering, mix & mastering

$2000 for Content Creation: visuals, video and photo shoots

$7,100 for Marketing: Performing (travel expenses,) advertising (Spotify, Facebook, Google, YouTube, Hulu etc,) DMDS, publishing etc.
