<div>Nós sempre fomos uma família simples, mas cheia de amor. Eu, meu esposo e nosso filho somos como três corações batendo juntos — enfrentando os altos e baixos da vida com fé e união.

<div>Mas em 2023, nosso mundo mudou de forma repentina e cruel.

<div>Meu esposo, aquele homem forte, dedicado e sempre presente, foi diagnosticado com melanoma em estágio 3 com metástase. A notícia caiu como uma tempestade — devastadora, inesperada, impossível de ignorar. Ainda assim, mesmo com dores, exames e medo, ele nunca deixou de trabalhar um só dia. Com coragem, enfrentava tudo em silêncio para continuar sustentando a casa e protegendo nossa família.

<div>Em 2024, ele passou por uma cirurgia que retirou todo o câncer. Foi um momento de alívio, esperança e gratidão. Pensamos: “Agora vai passar. Agora vamos respirar.” Ele estava se recuperando bem. Sorrimos novamente. Mas a alegria foi curta.

<div>Recentemente, os exames mostraram que o câncer voltou. E voltou com força, atingindo o peito direito e as vértebras da coluna. A dor física agora se soma a um medo ainda maior: o medo de não conseguir lutar por mais tempo, o medo de não termos mais como sustentar nosso lar.

<div>We’ve always been a simple family, but full of love. Just me, my husband, and our son — three hearts beating as one, facing life’s ups and downs with faith and unity.

<div>My husband — a strong, dedicated, and loving man — was diagnosed with stage 3 metastatic melanoma. The news hit us like a storm: devastating, terrifying, and impossible to ignore. And yet, despite the pain, the tests, and the fear, he never missed a single day of work. With quiet courage, he kept pushing through to provide for our family and protect our home.

<div>In 2024, he underwent surgery that removed all visible cancer. It was a moment of relief, hope, and gratitude. We thought: “Maybe now we can breathe. Maybe now it’s over.” And for a brief moment, we allowed ourselves to smile again.

<div>Recently, the cancer came back — this time spreading to his right chest and the vertebrae in his spine. The physical pain is now accompanied by an even greater fear: the fear that we may not have the strength or resources to keep fighting.

<div>He has always been the provider of our home, the pillar of our little world. And now, we’re facing the harsh reality of choosing between medicine and rent, food and transportation to the hospital.

<div>Writing these words was incredibly hard. We are a proud family, like so many others, and we’ve always tried to carry the weight on our own. But today, we need you.
