Obrigada do fundo do coração.

Update:

OBRIGADA A TODOS DO FUNDO DO MEU CORAÇÃO!!!

Update:

My heart is full today and filled with hope again thanks to you all, my mom can't believe it and has cried already.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who donated and shared, Monday my mom is going to have Chemo (on her birthday) and we will take care of the paperwork to collect all the reports to schedule the appointment.
Some people who have already had this disease have also advised me to take my mother to the IPO in Lisbon because there is a very good doctor there who specializes in digestive cancers and eventually she can be treated there, since the treatments at the Champalimaud Foundation are too expensive.
If this happens, these funds will also be used for transportation and whatever is necessary for my mother to be treated there.
We will look into all the possibilities of getting an opinion and where they can best cure her and inform her in conditions thanks to all of you.
I will leave the campaign open in case you want to contribute, because unfortunately I don't know how long this battle will last or when victory will come or what still awaits us.
I will update you on the situation, hoping for the best.

THANK YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!!
-----
In January 2021, I finally took my mother (D. Alzira, Zizi to me) to the emergency room after insisting a lot.

It was on this day 07/01/2021 that the biggest challenge of my life began and all the plans I had made for the new year ceased to exist.
It was on that day, at the door of an office in a hurry in the emergency room, that a doctor, no older than me, told us that the CT scan showed a large mass in the lower part of the stomach, possibly cancer already in an advanced stage (T4,N01,M0).
I don't even remember anything else about that day, only that my mother was hospitalized and at 8 in the morning I was at work, without sleeping for too many hours.

After many tests it was confirmed that there were no metastases, so she could be considered for a curative gastrectomy (the surgery).
It was proposed 4 treatments of chemotherapy (FLOT) and 4 more after the surgery.
On 4/20/2021 my mother with a lot of strength and vomiting along the way (I was so proud) completed her first 4 treatments and went on to have an MRI to see the evolution.

Stupidly, I was for the first time in so long happy, no anxiety, not even thinking about the worst, when I get the call from the doctor after they saw the scan report.
They had doubts that the disease had progressed to the liver and pancreas even with all the chemicals, that she would have to have an echoendoscopy to see but that she couldn't get the surgery.
I pretended to work the rest of the day and cried, but only told her in the afternoon calmly what the docs told me. She didn't even care, "Let's go forward Xana we are going to win, don't cry. "I cried more than she did that day.

After insisting a lot and calling the hospital several times to try to find out when the exam would take place, I realized that the machine was broken and the doctor told me that they had met and that they thought it was better for my mother to have more chemotherapy and that they would make an appointment for her to see an oncologist.
On 05/19/2021 there we went once again, to find out that my mother could not be operated at this time, because the tumor did not shrink in size enough to do a safe operation and possible liver small lesion that she would have to do the 4 treatments for after surgery before to try to be able to operate.
And we have come to this point where my mother cannot have the operation and I am losing the hope, the strength and the drive that I had in January.
If my mother can't have the operation, she can't be cured, which makes it much more complicated to keep her here for a few more years.

It has always been just the two of us, and since the beginning of our battle I promised her that I would do everything for her cure, that I would go to all the appointments, and all the chemotherapy treatments. I went to everything and promised to do everything and anything, but I can't take her to a private doctor, so I'm here today asking you for anything you can donate (If you can't please send good things and strength and for those who pray like my mother, pray for her) to take my mother to the Champalimaud Foundation in Lisbon for a second opinion appointment and re-evaluation for her treatment so that she can have an operation, a cost that I can't afford. All the funds will be going towards these goal and to help me buying suplements since my mom weighs 37 Kilos at the moment and can not eat all the calories she needs.

At this moment my mother has no income, she is waiting for an answer from the National Pensions Center regarding the allocation of the disability/old age pension that by an error of theirs was not allocated to her, and with a debt of 1,131.78 euros to social security that I don't even know what to do.  That I will have to pay it in installments but that doesn't matter now, without my mother winning the battle, it doesn't matter.
The only income here at home comes from my work, which is not much, but it's enough to keep us afloat. But not so that my mother can be re-evaluated and we can get another opinion in the private sector (without any kind of insurance or health subsystem), so I ask you, please help me, helping  my mother, help me not to lose hope so that I can fulfill the promise I made to her to do everything I could and more.

Thank you to all of you who read to the end and decided to help me, and also to all of those who, even if you can't contribute, have sent us your strength.

If you can't donate, send us good things and strength and faith and please share these.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
